Pay attention to a nifty tip that will help you get the most out of Amazon's automatic campaigns.
The idea behind this method is that at each price tier, you can find relevant competitors and keywords. However, when you run a single automatic campaign with a fixed budget, Amazon will naturally route the traffic to the most successful terms and products, where conversions and traffic are highest.
How to execute this in practice:
Set up ten automatic campaigns.
In each campaign, set a manual bid based on different price tiers. For example: $0.10, $0.20, $0.30, and so on.
You can customize the bid amounts as you see fit, as long as you have at least ten campaigns, and there's a minimum of a $0.10 difference between each campaign.
After running the campaigns for 3-4 days, you'll begin to notice the keywords and products that are driving sales. Any keyword or product that has generated at least 2 sales should be moved to a manual campaign and included in a negative keyword list within your automatic campaign.
Good luck!
