Brand Referral Bonus

Amazon recently launched a brand referral bonus program that allows brand owners to earn a commission on sales that occur through external traffic driven to their Amazon product pages.


In short, if you're an Amazon brand owner and you promote your products on platforms like Google, Facebook, or YouTube to send traffic to your Amazon product pages, you have the opportunity to earn up to a 10% commission on sales within 14 days of the customer clicking on your ad.


So, if a customer sees your ad today, visits your product, chooses to buy a different product, you won't earn a commission. However, if they make a purchase or purchase one of your brand's products within 14 days, you're eligible for a commission of up to 10% (depending on the category).


How to make the best use of this feature?


Facebook and Instagram are places where you can promote Passion products. In other words, it's harder to convince a customer who's sitting on the couch at the end of the day, just scrolling through Instagram, to notice a regular product like a vacuum cleaner and get them to click on it and buy it on Amazon without at least a 50% discount.


However, did you know that about 60% of customers searching for products in the USA are looking for them on Amazon?


In other words, the rest are searching for them on Google....


Therefore, proper advertising through Google's advertising engine, with keywords that you already know and control through Amazon's advertising engine, can create a steady mechanism of external sales, and after optimization, most of the advertising will be managed by Amazon...
