Are you Ready for Prime Day?

Prime Day is approaching in huge strides, and according to the latest reports, it is scheduled for June 21-22.

Amazon celebrates Prime Day (a kind of supercharged lifestyle day, on steroids...) since 2015, and as someone who has been there every year, and as you know - I also love to conduct quite a few experiments, here are some important insights about the day and how to prepare for it.

  • American customers are coming to look for deals - don't assume that since American customers are coming in large numbers, sales will automatically spike. In the past, I conducted an experiment with products without any discounts on one of the sales days, and their sales significantly dropped compared to regular days. After I set up deals for Prime Day, sales skyrocketed.

  • Set up deals using the coupons dedicated to Prime Day - Amazon promotes these deals on those days, and in most cases, they also add a special badge with the inscription "Prime Day Deal."

Advertising - Prime Exclusive Discounts - Prime Day Deal Discount.

  • Close monitoring of advertising on the same day - bids and clicks go wild, so it's important to invest a decent budget on that day to reach as many customers as possible. However, be cautious not to overspend your budget

  • Add "Prime Day Deal" at the beginning of your title - yes, you might be surprised, but Amazon allows this addition only for those two days, and you won't be able to update the title before and immediately after those days.

I'll add some more relevant tips towards the designated date of the sales.

Have a great week!
